The last couple of days visibility has been a bit less then normal. This does not bother us, we go diving anyway. These images have been shot during guided dives with Hans. We did a total of 6 dives with him this time and encountered a lot of nice sea life. Look at the turtles, lettuce snail, moray eels, frogfish, spotted eagle ray etc. etc.

We would love to take you underwater as well and show you how beautiful the underwater world is. Check our website for info or just send us an e-mail and we will always answer you as soon as possible to give you the info you request!

Nothing is more fun then diving with children. This girls father had been diving with us before last year and now returned for some more. When he learned his daughter was old enough to try diving as well he asked her if she wanted to try. And she did!! As a matter of fact, even though the visibility was not as clear as it normally is, she loved it and did 2 Discover Scuba Dives! See how she enjoyed the feeling of floating through the water and swim with turtles. What a joy that we were allowed to join her for this experience! Another scuba diving addict was born!!!

Do you want your children to experience this as well? Book a Bubblemaker course (8 year olds), Discover Scuba Dive or Junior Open Water course for them!

Recently we had a family of 3, mom, Dad and 4 year old daughter. Mom and Dad wanted to do guided dives, but also wanted it to be a family vacation. We solved the problem easily, first Mom did a dive with us whilst Dad played at the beach with the girl. Afterwards we had lunch at the beach and in the afternoon we simply swapped. Dad dove, Mom played and snorkeled with the little lady.

This way they had it all, they could dive and spent time with the family! We had a great week with them and visited lots of beautiful dive sites. Look at this movie and see the peacock flounder, turtle, big schools of fish, juvenile trunkfish etc. etc.

Even when you are with a group of non-divers, Relaxed Guided Dives tries to make your vacation unforgettable!

It’s not just exercises during the Open Water Diver course. Of course they are a very important part of each course dive, but when all requirements have been reached we also do a fun tour on the reef. Diving is fun and we want to show you why! So after the stress of having your tank being closed, or breathing from a free-flowing regulator, it’s time to relax and enjoy. Look at Willem, our student in this movie, see how he enjoys greeting Neptune, seeing the shirttail eel and pufferfish. Don’t forget the turtle and French Angelfishes who also start in this movie. We hope Willem will have lots of beautiful dives in the future!

Though we always enjoy every fish we see underwater and love to look at the corals and sponges and all their different colors, sometimes you see something that really makes your dive. During this dive it was a spotted eagle ray who allowed us to get a glimpse of him. It’s just majestic, how they effortlessly move trough the water, not impressed by currents at all.

They hardly move a fin and shoot through the water, where we sometimes have to swim like crazy to get ahead just a little bit…

Let’s hope we will see more of them the coming weeks, so we can show you what beautiful creatures they are!

Again we had a couple doing their first dive with us. Leroy did a Discover Scuba Dive with them and they had a great time! During Discover Scuba we start in our classroom with a little bit of theory. A lot of this you can forget again, but it is for example very important to know how to equalize your ears and that you have to keep breathing the whole time.

At the dive site we build up the dive gear for you, so don’t worry about that. Then we go into the water where we do a couple of simple exercises before we really dive underwater to explore the beauty that is hidden there.

Everything very relaxed, no rush, no one pushing you to do things you don’t want to do. We want all our guests to have a good experience!

After doing a first Discover Scuba Dive with us at Playa Lagun this diver decided to do another one on a different location. Still a bit nervous, still breathing heavily in the beginning of the dive, but little by little she relaxed again and started to enjoy herself again. We greeted Neptune and enjoyed seeing the big swarms of blue Tang that swam by. We even saw 2 turtles, sadly they are not in the movie. Camera not ready yet….

All in all a great dive, and an enthousiast diver. Are you coming to visit Curaçao soon? Let us take you on a DSD or guided dive and show you the wonders of the ocean!

Diving at Curaçao can be a complete new experience for new divers doing a discover scuba dive or for more experience divers trying shore diving instead of boat diving. We start building together our dive gear at the parking lot and then simply walk into the water from the beach. Since we can descend very shallow already and go deeper very gradually the pressure on the ears builds up more slowly, giving all divers more time to equalize. This is why shore diving is especially good when you are known to have problems with your ears. Besides this the most beautiful creatures are often found shallow!

Come and experience shore diving for yourselves with Relaxed Guided Dives.

During multiple days of two-tank guided dives you can encounter a lot of sealife at our reef. Every dive is done at a different dive site . In between the dives there is time for a lunch consisting of a sandwich, fruit, a glass of juice and water. It’s relaxing on the beach in-between the dives. You can talk about what you have seen and enjoy the scenery above water. Under water you can encounter seahorses, turtles and a lot of other sea creatures. Above water you can encounter a lot of birds and iguanas. All in all a great experience and fun to do.

Finding a seahorse during our Discover Scuba Dives or our guided dives is always something that makes us and our divers very happy. Finding an orange seahorse is extra special, usually we find the more brown/black varieties. We have seen this specific seahorse on several dives already. Sometimes we don’t see it for a couple of weeks and then suddenly it’s back ‘home’. Whenever we dive on this specific dive site, which is also a site we can visit during an Open Water course we always stop by the seahorses habitat, hoping to catch a glimpse of it.

Who knows, you might see it yourselves on your next dive with Relaxed Guided Dives!

About a week ago Leroy did a guided dive with 2 persons. In this movie you get an impression of what they encountered during this guided dive. The divers greeted Neptune on their way to the reef and saw turtles, a lobster, a sharptail eel and 2 honeycomb cowfishes engaged in either a mating ritual or a fight, you tell us what you think! Take a look at the juvenile trunkfish Leroy managed to capture, they are so cute, tiny as a pea. Funny how they are black with yellow spots, compared to white with black spots when they are all grown up.

Tomorrow another day filled with guided dives, we are looking forward to it. When will you let us take YOU on a dive with us?

Yesterday we had the honor to do 2 guided dives with a very spontaneous female diver. We had lots of fun on the surface as well as underwater. Leroy took Yanshu to Playa Lagun and Playa Piskado for 2 beautiful dives. When looking at a sharptail eel something yellow caught his eye… a yellow frogfish! Of course the turtles and lobster where also something they really enjoyed.

Did you know already we have package prices when you do several days of 2 tank dives? Check our website for prices and conditions or send an e-mail to ask for more information. Petricia always answers every e-mail as soon as possible, even after hours!
