• Scuba Diver

Some people do want to dive but don’t feel like studying during their vacation, or they simply don’t have the time to do the whole Open Water course. They can choose to follow the Scuba Diver program.

Scuba Divers can dive with a Divemaster, Assistant-Instructor or Instructor to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet.

A Scuba Diver has a more elaborate theoretical background and can do more underwater skills then someone who does a Discover Scuba Dive, but is not yet qualified to dive without a professional.

Requirements a diver has to forfill to get the Scuba Diver Certification are amongst others:

  • Complete Knowledge Development 1-3
  • Complete 3 dives with skills
  • Read and sign the PADI Scuba Diver statement

All lessons consist of a small theoretical part, building your own set together at the beach, skills on the surface and underwater and best of all: just diving and enjoying what u see underwater.

All skills that you have completed will be signed in you logbook and we confirm with a signature that you have completed the Knowledge Reviews.

A Scuba Diver can decide to ‘upgrade’ to Open Water Diver. To do this he has to do some more dives with other skills and do the theoretical exam. You could decide to do this in another vacation, or in the country that you live in. You are not obliged to do this at the same dive-school where you did your Scuba Diver course. In your logbook the other dive-instructor can see what you have learned so far, this has been signed, so he/she knows exactly what you still have to learn/do to complete the course. All books are already in your possession.
